Our travel guide about ‘shopping’

Some pictures of the shopping district at Bukit Bintang, Sungai Wang Plaza,

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Sungai Wang Plaza is one of my favourite shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur!! Never miss this place whenever i go to Kuala Lumpur!! This mall is the most popular shopping center among the locals, especially those youngsters and hip-hop ones. The nearest Monorail station is ‘Bukit Bintang’.

For this 1 day shopping trip, we did not spent time at Time Square and Lot 10 this time as we were too tired by the time we finished the last floor of Sungai Wang. We bought like $300 worth of cloths!

Here are some pictures of the place we took around Bukit Bintang.

Ladies, shop till you drop at Wufenpu, Taipei –

Friday, December 11th, 2009

Ladies, when you visit Wufenpu, stay calm because you might just spend all your cash in one place! Skirts, t-shorts, blouse, dress, shoes, accessories, hats and more all at wholesale price. The more your buy, the more discount you get. So ladies, you can’t say you shop in Taipei until you visit Wufenpu.

However, there are not much shops selling guys cloths. Yawnz. I didnt’ buy anything from the shops there. And I think I was tired and ‘forgot’ to take pictures of the pretty girls place except the signboard below :|

Shopping at Ximending, Taipei – 西門町

Monday, November 30th, 2009

The trendy shopping district of Ximending is a very popular place in Taipei. Some say is the Taiwanese version of the famous Shibuya. Ximending is full of shops selling cloths, shoes, handbags, caps, accessories and food!! We didn’t take much pictures of the shops as we are busy shopping!

I must start this post with one of my favorite food in Taipei. Ah Zhong Mian Xian!

Rui Feng Night market, another place to visit in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

Rui Feng Night market is about 3/4 size of a football field. We reached there about 10pm and it was still very crowded. This place is very different from other night market I visited. The stalls are set up around a plot of land with no building beside it. There are stalls selling food, cloths and also game stalls even for kids.

Rui Feng Night market is 5 minutes away from Judan Station.

Shopping at Xin Jue Jiang – 新掘江, Kaohsiung

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Xin Jue Jiang is one of the Kaohsiung’s major tourist attraction. A very popular shopping place where youngsters go for latest fashionable items with small boutiques shop. The first appearance of Xin Jue Jiang to me is similar to Ximending in Taipei.  If you want to find out what is the latest fashion trend, spend some time to stroll around there, maybe 2 hour is more than enough. Eat and shop, Shop and Eat! There are many boutiques, cafe and some small stalls street snacks, apparels, accessories etc at affordable prices but relatively higher than the price in Feng Jia night market in Taichung!
