1. Be there early!
The Singapore Zoo is open from 8.30am to 6pm. HolidayBoyBoy and me reach there about 9.30am and finish our adventure about 2.30pm. Still we did not cover the entire Zoo. So go to the Zoo early and spend the whole day there to get what you paid for the admission ticket!
2. Take note of the show times and location
There are a few shows around the zoo and with proper planning, you are able to see all of them!
There are 3 shows presenting in Singapore Zoo we enjoyed

Shaw Foundation Amphitheatre
a) 10:30am – Rainforest Fights Back at Shaw Foundation Amphitheatre. This is the earliest show you can watch if you reach early. It took about 30 minutes for the whole story. During the show, you can see about 15 species of mammals and birds like monkeys, peacocks, bears and etc presenting well through the educational story.

Rainforest Fights Back
b) 11.00am –Splash Safari at Splash Amphitheatre which is just next to the Rainforest Fight Back Show venue. Here you would be able to see the Cute penguins and California Sea Lion. After the show end, you are welcomed to take photo with the Naughty Sea Lion for free!!Free gift is given by her too – Beauty Kiss.

3. Take note of the feeding time
Some animals in the Zoo can get really lazy. Sit there the whole time without standing up or will sit with it’s backside facing the crowd!! Haha. So do take note of the feeding time of some of the animals such as lion and polar bear. With food, the animals do make some movement.
