Resort World Sentosa (RWS) opens 20 Jan 2010 which is like today! If you are still clueless about the happenings of the resort, never fear because here are some facts and figures to help you get to know RWS just a little bit better.
- Resorts World Sentosa is one of the world’s most extensive and expensive integrated resorts at US$6 billion. Integrated resorts in Singapore means casino-based vacation resort full of fun filled activities and attractions not limited to luxury hotels, spa, F&B and theme parks for the entire family.
- Resort World Sentosa was built in a record time of three years! Wow!
- The resort’s four hotels – Festive Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Crockfords Tower and Hotel Michael will open on 20 Jan with a combined inventory of 1,350 rooms. Another 500 rooms will be added when the other 2 hotel opens
- 3,500-lot car park is available for Singaporeans who just love to drive.
- Easily accessible via public or shuttle bus services, MRT rail system, cable car, cabs and cars. You can even take a short 15minutes stroll across the bridge.
- 20 per cent of the space are retail shops aim to target winners at the game tables at the integrated resort.
- had over 5,000 room nights booked in the first days of the opening of their reservations hotline. The period over the Chinese New Year 2010 is fully booked
- Southeast Asia’s only Universal Studios theme park is in Resort World Sentosa!
- Victoria’s Secret will open in Singapore Resort World Sentosa. The very First Victoria’s Secret in Asia. Sexy!

Their rack rates (publish rates) cost an average of SGD$400. If you are going with kids, you can visit the Festive hotel. Will provide more information when we get to stay there!
