Comes the time to start planning for our trip to Taiwan. We bought flight tickets from Budget airline, Jet Star at a very affordable price and want to go for a free and easy 11 day tour to Taiwan in 4th quarter 2009!
Is really tough trying to plan how to go about planning this trip. Holiday Girl Girl with her wide network of contacts manage to propose an itinerary! WOOOO! Good job!
The current plan is:
Day 1 and 2.0 in Taichung. Seems like nothing much to do in Taichung but I just want to go there for the ‘feel’.
Day 2.5 and 3 in Kaohsiung. Going to Kaohsiung reminds me of my army training there!
Day 4 and 5 in Kenting. Tourist place??
Day 6 to 11 in Taipei. Shop, eat, party and go crazy in Taipei!!!

Three big question mark remains:
- Should we visit Sun Moon Lake? Is like 2-3hours journey from Taichung and we are wondering if we should go with all the negative reviews. Current plan is not to go there
- Beitou Hot Spring. Looking for a quality hotel there to stay and also to enjoy the hot spring. If massage is available, it will be a great bonus for me!
- Hotels, Hotels and Hotels. So many hotels to choose from! Plan to stay in one quality hotel in Taipei while the rest of the stay to be on a budget.
Any help for the above questions are welcome!
