I encountered my fair share of difficulties in getting to Resort World Sentosa. So I offer some answers and tips to ensure you spend more time having fun in the Resort World than queuing up to get there.
- Sentosa Express (Monorail)
The Sentosa Express is located on the level 3 of Vivocity. Take the Monorail and alight at the Waterfront station which is right beside Resort World. This station name waterfront station is confusing to many people who keep asking the guide which station to alight. Why can’t they just call it Resort World Station?? Cost SGD$3
Advice: Do not take the Sentosa Express Train on the weekend. The train and station is way too small and you spend more time queuing.

You can take buses all over the place in Singapore which will bring you to resort world. City hall, Woodlands, Clark Quay just to name a few. My preferred bus? Bus number RWS8 at vivocity that cost SGD$2.

My favourite transport to Resort World Sentosa and also the fastest! If you are a hotel guest, drive in and keep to the right. Show your hotel confirmation for the island entry waiver.
If you are taking the cab, remember to keep left and drop off via Resort World Sentosa B1 carpark so you do not need to pay for the Sentosa island admission of SGD$3 per person!

In the future you can
- take a romantic walk across the connecting bridge to Sentosa Now you can walk to Sentosa in only 5 minutes!
- or take the cable car
Miss the good old days of taking the boat to Sentosa! Is there a boat service in future? Unless you are a high roller, Limousine services are one option for your transport
Take note you can take the bus in and still able to take the monorail FOC out of Sentosa. Taking the monorail out of Sentosa is by far the fastest and easiest.
