Thanthip villa hotel is located at the north of Patong beach, Phuket. It is a nice hotel which is value for money and is at a quiet location in Patong.
The hotel is 15 minutes walk from Bangla and Jungceylon shopping mall. It is just 3 minutes walk to the beach.
When I check in, the hotel staff offered the welcome drink, Bael Fruit drink which known to be a therapeutic tea. A nice cooling drink to start my stay in the hotel.
I stayed in the superior room and it was nicely furnish and huge. Here is the video of the room
Next morning, I had breakfast at the restaurant. As it was low season, the variety of food is not much. Good thing is I can order eggs from the waiter cooked in the way I like.
After breakfast, need to check my email. Sadly there was not free internet. The cost is either per hour, 3 hours or 1 week.
Now, it was time to swim. The pool is simple but yet big for a nice swim under the hot sun in Phuket.
Was enjoying my swim until I saw the bra….hanging outside one of the room
One incident that I was not happy about is the dirty kettle in my room. I called the housekeeping to change it and they keep cleaning it not once but twice and yet the kettle is not clean.
One good point to bring up is the staff took the initiative to take a group photo for us while we were taking pictures of each other. Sweet!
