At the Bintan Ferry terminal, they accept US$, Singapore $ and Indonesian Rupiah

Due to popularity of the resorts to Singaporean, all resorts accept Singapore Dollars, so there is no need for you to exchange for Indonesian Rupiahs, unless you intend to go to the nearest town, Tanjung Pinang for a shopping spree at their local malls which will take about 2hrs car ride.

And major credit cards such as amex, master and visa are also accepted in the resorts
